G. Aaron Suazo

Aaron is dedicated to helping his clients and their families, whether it is through a divorce, fighting criminal charges or helping them navigate through parenting disputes and other issues. Aaron is a tireless worker who works closely with his clients to help bring a favorable resolution their problems.
Aaron brings a long history of courtroom and negotiation experience to Suazo Law LLC. He began his legal career as an intern at the Denver District Attorney’s Office while attending law school at the University of Colorado. Preceding his formal study of law, Aaron served in the United States Marine Corps for 12 years. He began his military career as a military policeman and was later sent to the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, where he learned to speak the Korean language. He then worked as an interrogator in the military intelligence field for the rest of his Marine Corps career.
Ian Z. Shea
Attorney
Ian is dedicated to helping his clients at any stage of their family law journey. With 19 years of family law experience, Ian is adept at explaining the law to clients and working with them to develop strategies for the most favorable resolution of their cases. This includes listening to clients at every phase of the family law process and counseling them on strategies and likely outcomes based on the facts presented. Ian believes that clients often achieve their best results in mediation or settlement negotiations; however, when the parties reach an impasse, Ian uses his considerable trial and pre-trial experience to help his clients achieve their best outcomes in the courtroom.
Annelise Garlin
Associate Attorney
Annelise is a Colorado native whose practice focuses on Criminal Defense. While in law school at the University of Colorado, Annelise interned with the Office of Public Defender in both Boulder and Adams Counties. Upon her admittance to the bar in 2009, Annelise, immediately began working for a highly-regarded civil and criminal litigation firm where she learned valuable trial skills in preparing direct and cross examinations. Ultimately, Annelise followed her desire to ensure that the rights of the criminally accused were met, and accepted a job with the Douglas County Public Defender’s Office. During her eight years as a Senior Deputy Public Defender, Annelise tried over 60 jury trials and handled cases involving sexual assaults, homicides and other felony matters.
Courtney Eaton
Business Manager / Lead Paralegal
Courtney has a long history of working in the legal field. She learned the ins-and-outs of domestic relations law early in her legal career by working in several Colorado Courts. She began her legal career working in the Arapahoe County Court as a part-time Jury Commissioner. She was quickly moved to a full-time position in the Clerk’s Office and worked on both criminal and civil matters. Courtney wore many hats while working in the Arapahoe County Court clerk’s office. She maintained the duties of the jury commissioner but also held the positions of assistant division clerk and assistant collections investigator.
